Golden Spring is an original contemporary blossom painting celebrating spring through an elegant combination of vibrant colour and luminous golden accents.
A dark tree trunk rises through an abundance of individually painted blossoms in shades of pink, rose, burgundy and white. The flowers spread across the square composition in a lively rhythm, while delicate golden details appear between them, catching the light and adding warmth to the cool grey background.
I built the flowering canopy from countless expressive brushstrokes, allowing each blossom to retain its own character. Some are soft and pale, others deep and saturated, creating layers of colour and a wonderful sense of depth. The strong black branches provide structure beneath the abundance of flowers.
Scattered golden accents give Golden Spring its distinctive character. They appear almost like fragments of sunlight filtering through the blossoms, bringing an additional sense of warmth and preciousness to the composition.
For me, this painting captures the joyful moment when spring suddenly seems to arrive in full force – when trees burst into bloom and even the smallest changes in light make the world feel new again.
