Buy British takes the iconic "God Save the Queen" imagery and reimagines it entirely — built from British postage stamps spanning the Victorian era to the modern day, including rare elements such as the historic Two Penny Blue. Every stamp is a fragment of British history; together, they form something extraordinary.
Surrounding the stamp composition is a custom frame constructed from toys, coins, costume jewellery, and buttons, all unified with a gold finish. And then there is the centrepiece: a pink LED neon "Buy British" element, powered by a 12V system and supplied with a UK adaptor, that transforms the work from a painting into a fully illuminated installation. It is witty, provocative, and utterly original.
