Spring Whispers is an original three-piece floral artwork by Edelgard Schroer, created as a harmonious composition of three individually painted canvases.
Delicate flowers in soft pink, dusty rose and white rise across cool shades of grey, accompanied by fine black lines and spontaneous expressive marks. Tiny scattered accents seem to drift through the composition like petals, seeds or fragments caught in a gentle spring breeze.
I created each panel with its own individual character while allowing lines, colours and movement to connect the three paintings visually. The unusually tall and slender format gives Spring Whispers an elegant, almost weightless presence. Together, the panels create a beautiful rhythm of flowers, open space and delicate movement.
The restrained combination of grey, white, pink and black gives the triptych a contemporary character that feels both romantic and modern. It is particularly suited to narrow walls, hallways, stairways or spaces where a conventional horizontal painting would not have the same impact.
