Blossom Fire is a vibrant original painting celebrating colour, movement and the overwhelming beauty of a tree in full bloom. Countless blossoms in shades of pink, magenta, crimson and soft white spread across the canvas, creating an exuberant sea of colour.
Against the warm yellow-green background, the dark branches appear only in glimpses beneath the abundance of flowers. Some blossoms are bold and intense, while others are lighter and more delicate, giving the composition depth and a wonderful sense of movement.
I built the flowering canopy from countless individual brushstrokes, allowing the colours to overlap and interact. Seen from a distance, they merge into a powerful field of blossoms; viewed more closely, the individual marks and subtle variations become visible.
The title Blossom Fire reflects the energy of the painting – as though the entire tree has suddenly burst into colour. Despite its impressive size, the composition remains light and uplifting, bringing warmth, vitality and a strong focal point into a room.
At 140 × 90 cm, Blossom Fire has a generous presence and works beautifully as a statement piece above a sofa, sideboard or in a spacious contemporary interior.
