Radiant Blossom is an original contemporary painting that unfolds between floral abstraction and pure expressive movement.
From a soft, luminous background, an extraordinary form seems to burst into life. Sweeping strokes of crimson, deep red, green and blue are interwoven with flashes of orange, white and delicate pink. The composition opens outward like an exotic blossom caught at the moment of unfolding, while its energetic shapes may also evoke wings in motion.
I created the painting through spontaneous, sweeping gestures and layered passages of colour. Strong contrasts and fluid lines give the central form remarkable depth and movement, while the generous areas of pale cream and blush tones allow the composition to breathe.
What fascinates me about Radiant Blossom is the tension between strength and delicacy. The intense centre feels almost explosive, yet the surrounding space brings calm and lightness. Rather than defining exactly what should be seen, I wanted the forms to remain open to personal interpretation.
