I wanted the composition to capture the feeling of a spring breeze suddenly sweeping through a tree in full bloom. The blossoms become lighter and more scattered as they travel across the painting, creating a natural rhythm and a strong impression of movement.
The contrast between the intense pink and red flowers and the luminous shades of blue gives Gone with the Wind its fresh, uplifting character. At the same time, the drifting petals remind us of the fleeting beauty of spring – a beautiful moment that cannot be held forever.
