Golden Horizon – Original Textured Abstract Painting

I created this painting through layers of acrylic paint and modelling paste, building a tactile surface filled with raised patterns, fine cracks, sweeping marks and organic textures. The interplay between darker areas and luminous golden highlights creates a remarkable sense of depth.
The composition suggests an ancient landscape, a weathered wall or a distant horizon emerging through layers of time. Subtle blue-grey and greenish tones soften the warm metallic appearance of the gold and bronze, while deep brown and charcoal accents provide contrast.
What fascinates me about this painting is the way light interacts with its textured surface. As the light changes, different details become visible, revealing the richness and complexity of the composition.
