Colourful Spring is a large original floral painting filled with light, colour and the joyful energy of a season awakening.
Loose, expressive blossoms seem to float across a luminous background of pink, violet, fresh green, yellow and warm coral tones. Some flowers appear clearly defined, while others dissolve into spontaneous brushstrokes and fragments of colour, creating a wonderful sense of movement and freedom.
I built the background with softly flowing vertical layers, allowing the colours to merge and shift from deeper, dramatic tones into areas of radiant light. Against this atmospheric field, the flowers appear almost weightless. Delicate drips and gestural marks remain visible and add to the spontaneous character of the painting.
For me, Colourful Spring is about the moment when nature suddenly seems full of possibility again – fresh colour, warmth, movement and new life. Rather than depicting a traditional flower meadow, I wanted to capture the feeling of spring through colour and rhythm.
