Cala Mesquida is an original abstract painting by Edelgard Schroer, inspired by the coastal bay of Mallorca and interpreted in deep teal tones with luminous golden accents.
This work captures the dynamic energy of a curling wave in a refined contemporary interpretation. Deep teal and petrol tones create a rich, atmospheric background, whilst textured gold accents trace the flowing movement like light reflecting off water. Layered acrylic techniques and raised structural elements give the surface depth and tactile presence. The sweeping horizontal format enhances movement across the 120 cm canvas, balancing fluid motion with elegant restraint.
