Inner Tide – Original Blue and Gold Textured Abstract Painting
Inner Tide is an original contemporary abstract painting that combines rich petrol blue, turquoise and deep teal tones with warm golden accents and an exceptionally textured surface.
The composition is inspired by the quiet movement of water, hidden currents and the ever-changing beauty of natural surfaces. Layers of colour, fine cracks, raised patterns and flowing lines create a fascinating interplay of depth, movement and light.
I developed this painting through multiple layers of acrylic paint and structural elements, allowing the surface to evolve into an almost landscape-like composition. Some areas appear weathered and mysterious, while others catch the light through their delicate golden highlights.
What makes Inner Tide particularly captivating is the contrast between its cool blue-green palette and its warm, earthy gold tones. The result is a sophisticated abstract artwork that feels both calming and expressive.
The wide horizontal format makes this painting especially suitable for placement above a sofa, sideboard or console table. Its rich colours and tactile appearance complement modern, minimalist, contemporary and nature-inspired interiors.
Presented in a black floater frame, the artwork gains additional visual depth and a clean, elegant finish.
