Blown Away is an original cherry blossom painting by Edelgard Schroer, filled with movement, lightness and the joyful energy of spring.

I wanted to create a painting that feels abundant without becoming heavy. The blossoms seem to float beyond the branches and across the entire canvas, giving the composition a wonderful sense of freedom and movement. Some flowers are softly blended, others are painted with more expressive brushstrokes, creating depth and a lively rhythm throughout the work.
The contrast between the strong black branches and the delicate blossoms gives Blown Away both presence and elegance. Its generous landscape format makes it a beautiful statement piece for a contemporary living room, bedroom or entrance space.
