Bloom Current is an original floral abstract painting in which colour, movement and texture come together in a vibrant composition.
A flowing trail of pink and white blossoms moves diagonally across the canvas, creating a sense of rhythm and gentle motion. The flowers emerge from layers of fresh green, luminous yellow, soft pink and warm earthy tones, while areas of deeper burgundy add contrast and visual depth.
I created the surface with expressive brushwork, layered colour and pronounced textures. Delicate drips, scratched marks and small spontaneous details remain visible throughout the composition, giving the painting an organic and lively character. The blossoms themselves are loosely painted rather than precisely defined, allowing them to move between abstraction and recognizable floral forms.
For me, Bloom Current captures the feeling of nature in motion – blossoms carried by a gentle current of colour and light. Despite its energetic palette, the painting retains a light and harmonious atmosphere.
